The Margarethenhof is a small hideaway on the golf course and offers 30 rooms, suites and flats with a small kitchenette just a stone’s throw from Lake Tegernsee. Nestled in the mountains, 950 metres above Lake Tegernsee and just 50 kilometres south of Munich, our golf course is located in one of the most beautiful natural regions in Europe. The area around our 18-hole golf course invites you to explore the varied natural surroundings. Our golf course is one of the Leading Golf Clubs of Germany and fulfils high golfing standards. The renowned Tegernsee Valley holiday region offers many attractions for an all-round successful stay.
Our greenkeepers play an important role at Margarethenhof – they are primarily responsible for the extensive course maintenance and the quality of the playing surfaces.
Our members and guests can only play golf on a perfect green.

Your tasks will include
- Maintenance of planting and lawn areas (assisting activities such as planting, sowing, laying sod, transportation work (leaves, material, etc.), mowing work)
- Maintenance of existing facilities for play, e.g. boundaries, signs, markings, ball washers and benches, maintenance of bunkers
- Operation and maintenance of certain equipment after instruction
