The area around our 18-hole golf course invites you to explore the variation of bavarian nature. Our golf course is one of the Leading Golf Clubs of Germany and meets high golfing standards. The well-known holiday region Tegernseer Tal offers many attractions for an all-around successful stay.

Münchner Kreis
Members of the „Münchner Kreis“ golf clubs can play on our course all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Münchner Kreis conditions.
- Premium Course (your way to become a golfer)
Our golf trainer will prepare you for the DGV proficiency exam in individually arranged dates. After successfully passing the exam, you will be given the opportunity to use our golf course free of charge for 2 months.
- Compact course (first golf experience necessary)
First golf experience is required for this course. Only bookable with a minimum of two persons.
We were awarded the Golf & Natur certificate by the DGV. Our golf course offers the best possible protection for nature under optimal conditions for golf. For this purpose, the DGV has defined 4 environmental priorities:
- Nature and landscape
- Maintenance and play
- Work safety and environmental management
- Public relations and infrastructure
The certificate was awarded to us for adhering to these focal points and for detailed quality management.
Recreation at the Tegernsee
Rooms & wellness
At the Hotel Margarethenhof, you will find more than just a nice room to relax in. For a few days or weeks, we offer you a feeling of home that convinces you with its special combination of Bavarian coziness and high comfort. The rooms offer you a view of the golf course or the inner courtyard. Stay with us for short or longer periods with fast Wi-Fi and attractive reduced green fee prices. Your home on lake Tegernsee. With us, you only pay for what you consume. We also offer you our small but exquiste sauna and fitness area free of charge as well as a 17-meter long and heated outdoor pool in the Lindengarten.
Rooms & Suites
Contactless Self Check In
The rooms and flats at the Margarethenhof can be checked in comfortably and without waiting times from 3 pm. Check-in takes place digitally, you will receive all information in advance by e-mail. You will find your room key in the key box. Please make sure that you have access to the e-mail address on file when you arrive.
Room without breakfast. Breakfast can be added at an extra charge (payment directly at the restaurant).
Culinary delights
Restaurant Margarethenhof
Our golf restaurant is open for guests as well as visitors. Whether it’s Bavarian specialities, homemade desserts or sophisticated culinary creations, the kitchen meets the highest standards. We attach particular importance to the fact that all products used meet our high standards of quality and freshness and come from the region. Breakfast is offered daily from 07:30 am to 10:00 am in our restaurant. Please book in advance when making your reservation. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and can be booked separately. We serve warm meals in the evenings until 8:00 pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Sundays and opening hours in winter are limited. We will be happy to assist you with table reservations by calling +49 8022 7506-310.
